New Series | Acts 2025
One of the habits I pray we all developed during the Immerse study was reading our Bible most days of the week. It’s not just important—it’s essential to our Christian walk. The Bible is the revealed Word of God; it is the way He most clearly communicates His truth to us. We must spend time interacting with it for our own good.
Now that Immerse has finished, don’t let up on reading your Bible! As research from the Center for Bible Engagement shows, to have our lives transformed, we must be reading Scripture most days of the week:

The research also shows that those who read the Bible three or fewer times a week often live lives that statistically look no different from non-believers. We need to be reading Scripture often!
Here’s my encouragement to you: through our study of Acts, we will generally be looking at one chapter a week. I’m inviting everyone at Woodcreek to commit to reading that week’s chapter once a day for three days each week. When you do that, you will develop a familiarity with the passage that prepares you well for the message and worship time on Sunday.
There’s significant value in reading through Scripture together, collectively as a body.
Are you in?
I hope you will join your Woodcreek family as we read and study the book of Acts together over the next few months.
