Kidcreek | Staff Update

A Note From Tammy Scott

It is a privilege to work in ministry. I have had people come and go on my team over the last 20+ years and each person has brought just what our team needed.

The Kidcreek Team wants to announce we are shifting some people around! We are excited to share that no one is leaving; we’re simply ensuring that everyone is serving in roles that align with their gifts and their family’s needs.

HERE IS THE UPDATE:

Lauren is going to move over to the Assistant Director position of our Parents Day Out Program, Sonshine Connection. She will be assisting the new director, Tabitha White.

Erin Duke is moving into the role of Assistant Kidcreek Director. Her focus will be on all children ages 0-Kindergarten on Sunday mornings, coordinating childcare for ministries, and directing our Little Hearts program.

Have no fear, Holly and I are staying put! We love working with this team and are thankful that we get to continue to serve alongside each of them! Lauren has taken our preschool program to a whole new level. Erin has served this church body faithfully for years and we are so excited to have her take over this Assistant Director role.

Both ladies have given you some personal thoughts below! Please pray for all of us as we transition and continue to serve the families of Woodcreek Church.

A Note From Lauren Tubbs

My husband, Cody, and I have been a part of Woodcreek Church for over 10 years. Our four kids (Reagan, Connor, Savannah, and Sam) have called Woodcreek their church home for their entire lives and love being part of Kidcreek, Little Hearts, Sonshine Connection, and more. Since 2017, I have been blessed to hold the position of Preschool Director on the Kidcreek team. Serving in this role has been a privilege!

However, with changes in homeschooling for our older children and the ongoing care needed for our younger ones, our family has recently entered a season where I need to reduce my work hours and responsibilities to spend more time at home. I will be transitioning into the role of Assistant Director of our Parents-Day-Out Program, Sonshine Connection, starting in September. I am thrilled to work with the new Director, Tabitha White. I am so happy that Erin Duke will be transitioning into the role of Assistant Kidcreek Director. Our kids will be in such great hands!

As a reminder, our family is not leaving Woodcreek! We are excited to enter into this season of intentional family time while remaining a connected part of our Woodcreek family.

A Note From Erin Duke

My husband, Jeff, and I have been part of the Woodcreek family for nearly 15 years! We have two girls, Olivia (12yrs) and Sydney (9yrs), who have grown up at Woodcreek and my oldest now serves in Kidcreek.

I have had the privilege of serving in various areas throughout the years but primarily in Kidcreek. I had the opportunity to step into the Preschool Director position while Lauren was out on maternity leave. This included Lil Creek on Sunday mornings, Little Hearts on Wednesday mornings, and working with the Kidcreek team.  Before accepting the Assistant Kidcreek Director position I worked as the Childcare Coordinator, partnering with Woodcreek Ministries to provide childcare during classes and special events, and I was able to sub in Sonshine Connection on occasion!

I am blessed and very excited to be in my new role. I am looking forward to a continued partnership with our Kidcreek families, loving your little ones, and sharing the love of Jesus.
