Christmas Choir | You’re Invited

I’ll never forget auditioning for Woodcreek’s Worship Arts Team back in the summer of 2013. My husband and I walked in nervous, emotional, and processing some unexpected, exciting news—I’d just found out I was pregnant with our first baby. Singing “Great Are You, Lord” that day was intense, but it was also the beginning of something that’s become a huge part of my life and my family’s.

Fast forward over a decade, and we’re still here—now with two kids singing alongside us. Woodcreek isn’t just a church to us; it’s our family. And I want you to know there’s an open invitation for YOU to be a part of this community.

If you’re looking for a place to connect, choir is it! I would LOVE to have you be part of it. In fact, what better way than to jump in to our Christmas Choir? I promise, it’s not scary and totally worth it.

Here’s the Lowdown

  • Choir is open to anyone 2nd grade and up—so if you love to sing (even if it’s just in the car), there is a place for you!
  • You don’t need to be a “pro,” and we’ve got vocal mentors in every voice section to help you feel confident in your part.
  • Jon Lilley, our Worship Arts Pastor, gives us all the music in print and audio, so you’re set to practice ahead of time. The WA Team does a great job of making sure you feel prepared and welcomed.

Rehearsal Dates

I know December is busy, but this is worth it—mark your calendar!

  • Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. – Adults & teens only (childcare provided)
  • Thursday, December 5 at 6:30 p.m. – Full choir (childcare provided)
  • Sunday, December 8 at 7:30 a.m. – Quick run-through before services

Just fill out our audition form by December 1!

Don’t let the word audition scare you off; it’s simply a chance for Jon to get to know you. This is so important because you are stepping into a community that wants to know you better.

If you have questions, the incredible Anna Biggs, Worship Arts Coordinator, will be your point person.

You are invited to join the Christmas Choir, friend. Say yes.
