LAVISH
That word has caught my heart in our study of Ephesians 1:7–8: “According to the riches of His grace, which God lavished upon us…”
I am humbled to think that the God of creation, through His only Son, lavishes His love and grace so richly upon me!
As I reflect on this generous grace, I am stirred to give love and grace lavishly—just as Jesus has done for me.
This year, I have been so excited to take part in Operation Christmas Child. It allows me to pour out my energy and resources to reach children around the world with His gospel of grace. I can be a lavish giver too!
For only $30 a box, I can send toys to a child in another country, far from me, yet not far from God’s love. Each child receives not only a box of treasures but also hears the gospel of grace explained through the local church. They are invited to complete a discipleship course and given the opportunity to receive Jesus as their Savior.
That is lavish giving. That is beautiful. It brings tears to my eyes to think I can be a small part of this gift of gospel grace to a child. I even pray that one day I may meet such a child in heaven.
You can join me in giving generously to bring a great harvest of young lives into the Kingdom of our King. The number of children we reach with the gospel is limited only by the number of boxes we send. In this way, we are storing up treasures in heaven!

A Word of Gratitude & Invitation
As a church, we have already purchased the supplies, boxes, and paid for the shipping of 1,000 boxes to go to remote places in the world. What a beautiful testimony of God’s provision through His people! At the time of this writing, 508 of those boxes still need to be covered.
