A relaxed Sunday afternoon designed to help you find a place to call home.

Welcome to Church is our favorite way to meet people.

It's not a class.

It's not a recruitment meeting.

It's not a high-pressure pitch.

It's simply an opportunity to share a meal, meet members of our staff, elders, and ministry leaders, hear the story of Woodcreek, and ask whatever questions are on your mind.

Whether you've been attending for a few weeks or a few months, we'd love to hear your story and help you discover whether Woodcreek is the right place for you.

Welcome to Church is the first step in our membership journey, but there's no decision you'll be asked to make that afternoon. Instead, you'll have time to get to know us, let us get to know you, and prayerfully consider whether God is leading you to build your life here.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Home is where you're known.

Meet Sean and Sarah Davidson, members of our staff, several of our elders, and other ministry leaders over a relaxed lunch. We'd love to hear your story, answer your questions, and simply spend time getting to know you.

Home is where you know your way around.

We'll take a relaxed tour of our campus so your next Sunday feels a little more familiar. You'll know where to grab coffee, where your kids check in, and where different ministries meet.

Home is where there's room for you.

Our goal isn't to convince you to become a member.

Our goal is to help you discover whether Woodcreek feels like home.

If it does, we'd be honored to walk alongside you.

Home is where your kids are cared for.

Enjoy lunch and conversation knowing your children are being cared for in a safe, welcoming environment. Just let us know they're coming when you register.

Home is where questions are welcome.

Whether you're curious about our beliefs, Community Groups, serving opportunities, membership, or simply what life at Woodcreek looks like, this is a great place to ask. Nothing is off limits.

What happens after Welcome to Church?

If you decide you'd like to continue exploring membership, we'll send you an email explaining the next step.

One of those next steps is meeting with one of our elders.

Don't picture a formal interview or a test. It's simply an opportunity to sit down, get to know one another, and hear more of your story.

We believe church is a family, and families know each other.

Our elders want to know the people they're praying for and caring for. Just as importantly, we want you to know at least one elder personally so you always have someone you feel comfortable approaching, whether you have a question, need prayer, or simply want to say hello on a Sunday morning.

Why does membership matter?

Membership is how we say, "I'm part of this family."

It's a commitment to build a family devoted to Jesus together. Members pray together, serve together, care for one another, and help carry the mission God has given our church.

Membership is also required for anyone serving in leadership and for those serving in ministries with children or students. This helps us create safe environments for every family while ensuring the people leading and serving are committed to the mission and life of our church.

Membership isn't about putting your name on a list. It's about saying, "This is my church family, and I'm ready to help build a family devoted to Jesus."
