Preaching Team
At Woodcreek, our Preaching Team model is a cornerstone of our community. We're abundantly blessed with a multitude of gifted teachers, both within our staff and congregation, who faithfully deliver God’s Word each week. Our preachers can immerse themselves in various ministry areas through a rotating pulpit system, fostering growth and mutual learning. This approach enriches our preachers and allows the congregation to benefit from a diverse array of biblical perspectives while maintaining Jesus as our ultimate shepherd and teacher.
Our Preaching Support Team, composed of members from ministries such as Family, Worship Arts, Care, and Adult Ministries, convenes weekly to provide invaluable insights and feedback on messages, ensuring biblical faithfulness and relevance. This collaborative effort underscores our commitment to unity and growth within our community.

Meet Our Elders
In the New Testament, the organizational chart for church leadership is clear: Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, the Chief Shepherd. As Ephesians 1:2 tells us, "God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church."
Woodcreek Church adheres to an elder-served model, where the authority and responsibility for the overall ministry rests upon a group of qualified Christian men known as the Elder Board. Â
They are the human leadership for the church under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Therefore, they seek the mind of Christ and submit all matters to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.
The qualifications for eldership is outlined in passages like 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1. Our Elders are more than just leaders – they're an integral part of our church family. These committed men actively engage with our congregation and generously contribute their time while embodying our core values. Woodcreek has always been elder-led, with Elders selected based on specific qualifications and a heart for service, as Scripture outlines. A majority of our elders serve without compensation.Â
Their roles include:
- Elder: Representing maturity and wisdom within our community.
- Overseer: Ensuring our local church organization is managed with diligence and integrity.
- Pastor or Shepherd: Feeding, protecting, leading, and caring for our congregation.
Additionally, each member of the Woodcreek congregation is assigned to an elder. This intentional pairing ensures that every individual is continually prayed for by name, fostering a culture of support, care, and spiritual growth within our church family.
Connect with our Elders: Whether you have questions, seek advice, or want to connect, our Elders are here to help. You can email the entire group at [email protected] or click on an individual's email below.
