Woodcreek’s youth leaders consists of several paid staff members, about 45 adult volunteer leaders and about 14 high school students. Our program exists thanks to the love of and commitment of our volunteers. These are men, women and students who give up their time, energy, schedules, and lives to pour into 6th – 12th graders. From leading our small-group Bible Studies to facilitating our weekend programs and trips, these faithful and fun leaders are the driving force behind our ministry. We are so grateful for their love for Christ and their heart to share that love by pouring into the future leaders of the Church.

Our adult leaders range from college students to grandparents, and everything in between. They are the ones who challenge our students to go deeper in their faith. Many of these leaders not only teach on Wednesday nights, and attend other functions, but also mentor students on a regular basis. In order to be a part of this ministry, these men and women go through an application, which includes a criminal background check, and interview process before joining the team.

The Woodcreek Servant Team, made up of sophomores, juniors and seniors, is designed to give high school students a look into youth ministry and equip them with leadership and ministry skills. The students are committed and passionate about growing in their relationship with Christ, serving the middle and high school groups, and being discipled in ministry and leadership. These students apply each spring to be a part of the team and serve for an entire year. They are an integral part of the Middle School experience and are also responsible for much of the set-up, A/V and worship.
