The Book of Job: Suffering Well
In one of the most beautiful pieces of all literature, we see a righteous man suffer. We watch him struggle to make sense of it. We listen to his friends try to help him understand it. We see him confronted by God.
We find ourselves, throughout our lives, asking some of the same universal questions raised by the account of Job’s suffering: Why do we suffer? Where is God when we suffer? How can a good God allow so much suffering? How are we to endure our pain?
Although there are no easy answers, this 3-week series will wrestle with the questions while looking at the life of Job.
