Seeds of Restoration Weekend
After a disaster or tragedy, the victims are in desperate need of physical and spiritual restoration. Who better to bring both than the people of God.
Join us October 7 & 8 for an exciting weekend of events benefiting Global Aid Network. GAiN, Cru’s humanitarian arm, is devoted to relieving suffering, restoring dignity, and revealing hope to people in the midst of tragedy, disaster, and famine, here and abroad, for the sake of the Gospel.
GAiN Benefit Concert
Saturday, October 7, 7:00-8:30 PM
Enjoy an inspirational evening of sacred choral music featuring the work of composer, Debra Scroggins, and recording artist, Heather Sorenson, both fellow Woodcreekers! We’ll hear performances by members of the DFW professional musical community, accompanied by a full orchestra, coming together to benefit the efforts of GAiN. This free, family-friendly event may be best for ages 10 and up. Childcare is not provided.
Hunger Relief Seed-Packing Event
Sunday, October 8, 9:30 & 11:00 AM
As a church, we’ll assemble 60,000 seed packets to be distributed by GAiN to developing nations, many suffering from war and famine. GAiN helps to give the recipients hope in their present circumstance and helps them discover the eternal hope that can only be found in Jesus. Plan to serve one hour and attend the regular church service the other. This family event (kids 4+) is a great opportunity to tangibly impact those in desperate need.
Family Celebration Picnic
Sunday, October 8, 12:15 PM – 2:00 PM
Let’s celebrate all that God accomplished through Woodcreek during GAiN weekend with a family picnic! We’ll have food trucks for all and inflatables for the kids. Come enjoy this wonderful time to spend together as a church family.
