Our Middle School mission trip is a vital part of challenging our students to grow and be stretched in their faith. We value these trips because of the unique way immersive service brings the group together. But we don’t want students to just go on a fun trip for a week without being engaged in serving here in their local community. Therefore, we challenge our students by holding them to strong expectations and prerequisites for participation on these trips. Our hope is that both the trip and the process leading up to the trip will be used to sharpen their growing faith.
The Middle School mission trip is typically a 9-day stateside trip that takes place in July. We partner with Youthworks who coordinates community projects, Bible Studies, and activities for our team. Our work typically includes hosting a summer kids club along with work projects like painting houses, landscaping, serving in soup kitchens and more. Our past trips include Cortez, CO; Newport, TN; Martin, SD.
