Here are some ways we meet the needs of our church family:

Prayer

Woodcreek is a church that prays. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 reads “Pray without ceasing.” We desire to continually worship God and take your needs before God. Here is how prayer is incorporated at Woodcreek Church.

Tell us your prayer request or praise:  We are committed to praying for you! Please submit your request through the form on the right.

Sunday Prayer Team: This team meets every Sunday morning at 7:15 a.m. in the atrium. Contact George and Bobbie Bentley at prayerteam@woodcreekchurch.com for more information.

Prayer Email Team: Each week we send out a comprehensive prayer list to our prayer team. To join this team and begin receiving these weekly emails, contact Sharon at sharon@woodcreekchurch.com. She will get you signed up.

STILL : Discover how to listen for God’s voice through prayer in this once-a-month prayer hour. If you would like to attend watch the bulletin for the next meeting time and just join in! A Prayed 4 City: A Prayed4City, a Christ-centered network connecting the Church in united prayer for the advancement of Christ’s Kingdom, has launched an initiative to cover the Metroplex in unified prayer all year. Woodcreek has committed to pray on the 12th day of every month for the year 2013. A monthly prayer guide focusing on salvation, discipleship, community and transformation will be provided via the E-News. We will be joining 30 other church across the metroplex!!

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry provides confidential Christian care, support and encouragement for emotional and spiritual needs to anyone (18 or older) in our church body and in the community.  If you have experienced loss of a loved one, hospitalization, divorce or separation, unemployment, a terminal or chronic illness, relocation or loneliness, you could benefit from the care and support of a Stephen Minister.

People seeking a Stephen Minister will be confidentially interviewed before a one-on-one relationship is established.   You can learn even more information about Stephen Ministry HERE. Counselors

Need A Counselor? When life throws us difficult challenges, sometimes we need more than a friend to help us. We have a list of counselors who are ready to help you with wise counsel in all seasons of life. At Woodcreek we want to connect you to the best counselor for your needs. You can contact sharon.spaulding@woodcreekchurch.com for the list of counselors that we recommend or you can call the church office at 972-238-8722. All calls will be handled confidentially.

Funeral Services

If you or someone you know has lost a loved one and would like to hold the funeral service at Woodcreek Church, please contact us at 972-238-8722.
